The Pomodoro Technique
By Jeremy Mullens
Interns are awesome.  About two weeks ago our web development intern introduced me to the Pomodoro Technique, a better way to just get things done around the office.  The theory is simple Рmake a list, work dedicated for 25 minutes on one project and one project only and when the 25 minutes is up you take a short break.
I was skeptical at first. ¬†Being in charge of marketing I sometimes think that mulit-tasking is the only way to accomplish something… I mean in theory your getting more stuff done at a time. ¬†I guess I was wrong, and in this case, happily wrong. ¬†Granted the Pomodoro Technique isn’t the end all solution for everyone out there, but from what I have seen in the office it has pushed us to a new level of getting things done. ¬†So, props to Josh Compton for taking the initiative and pushing me as a “mentor” in a new direction… now back to work
